Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TradingPatterns.io (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TradingPatterns.io provides automated chart pattern detection, technical analysis, and historical win-rate statistics for stocks, crypto, and ETFs. The Service is offered in three tiers: Free (free), Pro ($39/month), and Premium ($59/month).

3. Not Financial Advice

The information provided by TradingPatterns.io is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice. You should not treat any of the content as such.

Past pattern performance and win rates do not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any trades.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account page. When you cancel, you keep access to your current tier until the end of the billing period already paid for, and you are not billed again.

New subscriptions begin with a 15-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial, and you are not charged during it. Cancel before the trial ends and you will never be charged. If the trial ends without a working payment method, the subscription is cancelled rather than left unpaid.

All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or downgrades. The free trial exists so you can evaluate the Service in full before any payment is taken. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may issue a refund at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances; a refund granted once does not entitle you to any future refund.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@tradingpatterns.io before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer — billing mistakes are resolved fastest this way. Initiating a chargeback on a charge you authorized may result in immediate termination of your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Attempt to circumvent tier restrictions or access controls
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

7. API and Data Usage

You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense any market data, pattern detections, or analysis results obtained from TradingPatterns.io. Automated scraping, bulk data extraction, or API abuse beyond your tier's rate limits is prohibited and may result in account termination.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of TradingPatterns.io — including pattern detection algorithms, confidence scoring models, and UI design — are owned by TradingPatterns.io and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradingPatterns.io and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to trading losses, loss of profits, or loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that detected patterns will result in profitable trades.

11. Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate pattern detection and market data, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on the platform. Market data is sourced from third-party providers and may be delayed.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any active subscription will be cancelled and no refund will be issued for the remaining billing period.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TradingPatterns.io and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on any information provided by the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
